Pick-up Lines

These are incredibly cheesy and lame but also amusing, so I decided to share some Harry Potter based pick-up lines.

• If you were a Dementor, I'd become a criminal just to get your kiss.
• I know we're not in Professor Flitwick's class, but you still are charming.

• Being without you is like being afflicted with the Cruciatus Curse.
• If I were to look into the Mirror of Erised, I'd see the two of us together.
• Did you survive the Avada Kedavra curse? Because you're drop dead gorgeous.
• Your smile is like Expelliarmus. Simple but disarming.
• You must be magical, because I've fallen under your spell.
• Are you using the Confundus charm or are you just naturally mind blowing?
• You can have the portkey to my heart.

These make me gag slightly...

The movies

         I was looking around for some more stuff to blog about, and I found someone who seemed to strongly dislike what Warner Brothers did with the movies. The more I read of it, the madder I got. I don't know about you, but I tend to get extremely defensive over anything bad said about anything Harry Potter related. He went through and pretty much said that the movies were horrible and didn't capture any aspects that were in the book. I think that is the most untrue thing that has ever been stated! The movies are, in my opinion, the best movies that are about books. I mean you can only fit so much in a two hour movie, and I think that with that limit they do a wonderful job of capturing the essence of the world of Harry Potter. For those who have read the series, it is great to have to stories brought to life. And I'm glad that those who don't read get to experience them as well. My family and I'm sure millions of others have grown up watching them with their families. I know I was rushing to the theaters once the movie came out, and I have every movie and DVD. Yes, there are some things that aren't perfect, but I wouldn't change any of it.
